Suspect in Trooper Shooting Faces More Charges
More charges are filed against Edwardo Wong, II.

The Florida man is accused in the murder of State Trooper David Blanton, Junior on I-40 last month in Haywood County. In addition to murder and robbery charges, Wong now faces - 3 counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, drug charges for possessing marijuana and ecstasy with intent to sell and attempted first-degree murder of a Haywood County Sheriff's detective. Detective Bruce Warren was reportedly shot at four times by the suspect the night of Trooper Blanton's murder.
